While it gently cleans your hair without causing any harm thanks to its natural active cleaning agents, it also takes the hair and the scalp under a repairing care from the first day thanks to its formulation consisting of herbal active agents. The dermal papilla below the scalp is structure that controls the development and growth of hair follicle. Hair matrix, which is in the deepest part of hair bulb, is one of the fastest multiplying tissues in the human body. Being a part of epidermis layer, hair matrix is named as dermal papillae (DP), with its structure containing keratinocytes.

DP plays an important role in the development of hair follicle. A new hair grows by following these steps:

Hair growth cycle consists of 3 phases: anagen, catagen and telogen

•In the anagen (growth) phase, which lasts 3 to 5 years, DP starts the formation of a new matrix and results in the formation of a new hair.

Afterwards, hair proceeds into regression (catagen) phase. In this transition period lasting approximately 3 weeks, hair gets out of the bulb DP, and hair follicle shrinks and migrates toward the surface of the scalp.

• At the end of telogen (resting) phase that lasts 4 months, hair follicle enters anagen phase, therefore DP and follicle base come together again. Formation of a new hair starts. The new hair pushes out the old one, and while the old hair is lost, and hair growth cycle starts again.

Why do we lose our hair?

Hair loss is a progressing process – lifelong natural process that depends on the unstable hair growth cycle. In people with healthy hair, approximately 85% – 90% of the hair is in anagen phase and the remaining 10% – 15% is in telogen phase. Hair loss is also named as alopecia, and if there is any loss experienced outside of this phase, it may be based on an instability.

With modern-day up-to-date high  technology and studies performed on hair, we now know that hair growth cycle is interrupted with problems depending on various factors.

Hair loss is a condition that is experienced due to androgen metabolism, genetics and stress. Women and men are affected differently from this process. For instance, hair loss affects at least 50% of men when they reach age 50, while it is observed in approximately 25% of women. Barely 40% of hair has been lost by a woman aged 70. In short, hair loss is higher in men than women.

How is it used?

Stage 1: Firstly, pre-wash the hair in order to cleanse it. Apply sufficient amount of shampoo to all hair by massaging it in lightly and rinse it off.

Stage 2: Then apply more product to hair surface and scalp for a minute by lightly massaging. Wait for 5 minutes. (Waiting period should be always complied in order to obtain efficiency.)

Stage 3: Rinse the hair. Hair conditioner may be used if desired.

PROCAPIL

After “minoxidil” and “finasteride”, Procapil is a product that was developed specifically for hair loss treatment, and it contains the properties of both products with scientifically-proven efficiency.

Procapil has a triple complex structure that is formed by the combination of “Biotinyl-GHK”, “Apigenin” and “Oleanolic Acid”. Oleanolic acid inhibits 5α-reductase, Apigenin improves micro-circulation, and Biotinyl-GHK stimulates cell metabolism. Procapil stimulates hair roots, and increases the amount of blood received by the roots by dilating the surrounding veins. Increased blood build-up increases the growth rate and quality of hair. For both men and women, it strengthens and revives hair roots in order to prevent hair loss.

Procapil has been discovered to:

• Has a stimulating effect on hair root and dilating effect on vessels feeding the hair, and it provides these effects in very low amounts compared to minoxidil,
• It has an inhibitor effect on Dehydrotestesterone (DHT), and it reduces the density of DHT in scalp by inhibiting 5-alpha reductase formation only locally. It does not cause sexual adverse effects like finasteride since it has local effect
